As the Government considers podiatry an essential health service, we will remain open while the latest COVID-19 restrictions are in place. We are grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our community.
We are currently operating a little bit differently and thought that we'd better give you a heads up.
We will call you the day before your appointment to confirm that you will be attending and ask you two quick COVID-19 screening questions.
Most of the time, you will receive a call from 9481 0639. You may receive a call from a private number if our receptionist is working from home. Our receptionist will leave a message if you don't answer the call.
If you have a mobile phone, we will send you the SMS reminder below the day before your appointment.
Hi <<FirstName>>, your next appt at Fairfield Podiatry is on <<NextAppointment>>. Pls stay in your car and REPLY TO THIS MSG when you arrive. We'll call you when your podiatrist is ready. Pls wear mask, sanitise hands and keep your distance. READ THIS BEFORE ATTENDING: http://bit.ly/When_Should_You_Postpone_Your_Appointment? Call 9481 0639 if unable to attend.
If you don't have a mobile phone or don't plan to drive to your appointment, please let us know when we call you so that we can tell you what to do.
While we would prefer to have you wait inside the clinic, asking you to remain in your car will reduce your exposure to other people and help to keep you safe.
Please be mindful that asking you to wait in your car is a safe but inefficient way for us to operate and it may contribute to your podiatrist running behind schedule. We appreciate your patience and will let you know if this is the case whenever possible.
Your podiatrist will greet you as you enter the clinic wearing a face mask and shield, ask you to clean your hands with hand sanitiser, check your temperature and usher you straight into their consulting room.
As you can see, we're doing everything we can to ensure that your visit is as safe and enjoyable as possible. You can find out more here.
Given that this is an ever-changing situation, we would appreciate you liking our Facebook page to keep up to date with the latest news.
Take care of yourself and your loved ones.
We really appreciate your support!
Regards,
Shaun, George and the Fairfield Podiatry team
